FAQ

The best products for pet urine removal are bio-enzymatic odor removers, such as Got Pee Odor Eliminator. This product breaks down the urine at a molecular level, fully eliminating the odor and stain instead of just masking it.

Hard surfaces
First, blot any fresh urine with a clean cloth to absorb as much liquid as possible. Then, apply Got Pee Odor Eliminator generously and allow it to sit for the time recommended on the product label to ensure it fully breaks down the urine. Finally, rinse with water or wipe with a clean cloth.

Soft surfaces
Make sure to saturate it so that it’ll get to where the urine is. If you just spritz it, it won’t work. Leave it long enough to fully break down the urine (check recommended time on label).

No!! Vinegar when mixed with urine or bleach can create a gas that is extremely toxic. Baking soda can be messy, time consuming, but not absorb odors. They may not be as effective in fully eliminating urine odors and stains, especially for set-in or repeated incidents. Bacterial enzymatic cleaners such as Got Pee Odor Eliminator are generally preferred for professional results.

For older stains, soak the area with a bacterial enzymatic cleaner and cover with a damp cloth to keep the cleaner activated for a longer period. Let it sit for at least 15-30 minutes, or longer if needed. Repeat applications may be necessary for deeply set stains.

Regularly clean areas with bacterial enzymatic cleaners, such as Got Pee Germicidal Cleaner, and address any accidents as soon as possible. Make sure rooms are ventilated well.

Yes, avoid using ammonia-based products as they can smell similar to urine and may encourage animals to re-mark the area. Bleach and other harsh chemicals are also best avoided, as they can be irritating or harmful to animals.

Steam cleaning can set urine stains deeper into surfaces and make odors harder to remove. If you use a steam cleaner, ensure you pre-treat the area with an bacterial enzymatic odor remover first such as Got Pee Odor Eliminator and allow it to dry completely before steaming.

When a pet relives themself, this is a very harsh smell/stain that often soaks into the foundation. After cleaning thoroughly with a bacterial enzymatic cleaner such as Got Pee Odor Eliminator, make sure the initial cleaning with an enzymatic cleaner is very thorough, as any lingering odor can encourage repeated marking. The better you get rid of the smell, the less likely it is the pet will return to mark the same spot.

Got Pee Odor Eliminator works well on both hard and soft surfaces, but it’s essential to refer to product labels for the usage amounts. For best results on soft surfaces, you need to fully saturate the stain.

If the odor lingers, reapply Got Pee Odor Eliminator and let it sit longer, as it might take multiple applications to fully break down the urine molecules.

In some cases with carpet and upholstery, there’s a chance the mess seeped into the subflooring. You can attempt saturating with enough Odor Eliminator to reach it.

Got Pee Odor Eliminator works great for removing these types of messes. Make sure to clean off the area first to remove any excess before applying the Odor Eliminator. Refer to the label for cleaning tips and length to leave product on.
